    Who can I refer to a Scotiabank Advisor?

    Due to regulatory requirements, we can’t email your referees unless they are your close friends or family as defined by applicable law. Therefore, you must only refer a friend or family member with whom you have a close personal or family relationship and who you are in regular contact with. To be eligible for reward cards, your friend or family member must not be a current Scotiabank customer, have not already participated in the program, and have not unsubscribed from Scotiabank email communications.

    What do I need to do to receive a reward card from Scotiabank?

    To receive a reward card you must have been invited by email to participate by a friend or family member. You must then schedule and complete a discussion about your financial needs with a Scotiabank Advisor within 60 days. At the time of your discussion, you will be required to provide the Scotiabank Advisor with the Special Offer Code you were provided in your invitation email. This Special Offer Code is used to validate that the discussion took place and allow the Advisor to send you an email with the instructions to select and receive your choice of reward through the redemption site. A valid email address is required in order to receive the E-Gift or E-Promo Card.

    What if my invitation email received from my friend or family member is addressed to multiple people within my household? Are we all eligible for a reward?

    If multiple people are addressed, only the first person who completes a branch discussion is eligible.

    How do I select which reward type I would like to receive?

    Please visit www.scotiabank.com/referral and enter your Special Offer Code and Reward Code to access the site. You will be asked to select your reward type and then be asked to provide your contact information which is required to deliver your E-Gift or E-Promo Card by email.

    What is the deadline to complete the financial discussion with a Scotiabank Advisor in order to receive a reward?

    You must have the financial needs discussion with a Scotiabank Advisor and have your visit validated before the offer expiry date stated on your invitation email from Scotiabank.

    What is the deadline to enter my Special Offer Code and Reward Code to receive my gift?

    To select and receive your reward you must visit www.scotiabank.com/referral within 30 business days after the deadline indicated in the email with redemption instructions you received from Scotiabank following your financial discussion. You will be required to enter the Special Offer Code and the Reward Code located in your email to select your reward.

    Do the E-Promo Cards expire?

    Yes, E-Promo Cards expire 90 days after activation. The expiry date is clearly identified on the E-Promo Card.

    Your email is required to send the E-Gift or E-Promo Card by email. Your email address will only be used for the purpose of fulfillment and administration of this offer. You will not receive any unsolicited emails from Scotiabank unless you have separately opted in to receive communications from Scotiabank.
